It has been 10 weeks since we closed, and we are pleased that we can now start talking about reopening..
In line with the recent government announcement, we are taking bookings from July 4th onwards. We are of course aware that this is conditional and subject to change should there be a reversal in the progress being made in the fight against the spread of Covid – 19. To this end there will be no cancellation fees should the government advise a delay in opening on that date.
Since we closed our doors, we’ve been working hard to offer reassurance and support to our staff and customers. We will of course be instating new processes to give confidence and improve safety for everyone in this new world that we find ourselves in, whilst hopefully minimising the impact on the ‘feel’ of the Rectory that our guests have all come to love.
Whether it’s a picnic on our lawn, a Negroni in the bar or an afternoon swim in the pool – helping you enjoy these moments is what we’re best at. The health and safety of our team and guests is our absolute priority. So, we have a balance to strike and we are intent on getting it right.
Our hotel, gardens, swimming pool and new summer menus are ready and waiting for you and we can’t wait to welcome you all back!
All the best
Alex and all the team at The Rectory
